Established in 2003, by Pakistan's most prestigious Family Magazine "Urdu Digest", Karwan e Ilm Foundation is managed by distinguished Scholars, Media men and Business entrepreneurs of Pakistan including Mr. S M Zafar, Dr. Aijaz Qureshi, Mr. Ahsan Ullah Waqas, Mr. Altaf Hasan Qureshi, Mr. Mujeeb ur Rehman Shami, Mr. Ayub Sabir Izhar, Mr. Nadeem Shafiq and others.
Its primarily objective is to provide financial assistance to shining but poor boys and girls from all over the Country for achieving their educational objectives. They include those who secure the first three positions in Matriculation and Intermediate exams from all Four provinces,AJK ,FTA and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Also Included are physically handicapped, blind and Orphans with Special emphasis to the children of Shaheeds .
AlhamdoLILLAH, a large number of Karwan's beneficiaries , having Completed their education are now productive citizens of Pakistan, whose forward looking development plans can be achieved only through the spread of Education.
